What is a Doula?
A doula is a trained birth support person who provides emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.
As your doula, I'm here to walk alongside you during one of the biggest transitions of your life. My role isn't to make decisions for you or tell you what to do—it's to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you make the choices that are right for you and your family.
Whether that looks like answering questions during pregnancy, offering comfort measures during labor, supporting your partner, or simply being a calm, reassuring presence, I'm here to help you feel held and cared for every step of the way.
Why I Do What I Do
I became a doula because I feel deeply called to birth work. Birth has always felt sacred to me, and I believe mothers deserve just as much care and attention in postpartum as they do during pregnancy and labor. So often, once the baby arrives, all the focus shifts to the newborn—but mothers are still healing, adjusting, and learning how to move through one of the biggest transitions of their lives.
My mission is to change that in the ways I can.
This work feels like a purpose I was meant to step into. I want to be present with families in one of the most tender, overwhelming, and life-changing seasons they will ever experience—offering steady support, encouragement, and care when it’s needed most.
I believe birth is a deeply meaningful experience, and I approach this work with compassion, humility, and a sense of calling shaped by my Christian faith.
My personal faith guides how I show up with love and service, but it is never something I place on my clients. I welcome and support families of all backgrounds and beliefs, and I am committed to creating a space that is respectful, inclusive, and free of pressure or expectation.
